About the Course

This course is designed for students who have completed a Level 1 aromatherapy certification or have foundational knowledge of essential oils and safe practices. It's ideal for aspiring professional aromatherapists, wellness practitioners, and holistic health providers who want to deepen their understanding and apply aromatherapy in more advanced and clinical contexts. In this course, students will explore advanced blending techniques, aromatic chemistry, anatomy and physiology, emotional and energetic wellness, and therapeutic protocols for specific health concerns. Through evidence-informed instruction, case studies, and hands-on formulation work, students will gain the confidence and competence to practice aromatherapy at a professional level.

Meet the Founder & Instructor

Hi, I’m Jessie — a certified aromatherapist, educator, and the founder of The Institute of Aromatic Arts. With years of hands-on experience blending essential oils and guiding others on their wellness journey, I’m passionate about teaching aromatherapy in a way that feels grounded, inspiring, and accessible. I was born and raised in the heart of Appalachia, where a deep respect for plants, people, and place shaped the way I see the world. That upbringing still influences everything I do — from formulating blends with intention to helping others reconnect with nature through scent and self-care. I’m also the owner of Maggie’s Farm and Aromatics, a modern apothecary in downtown Chillicothe, Ohio. I built the shop from the ground up to offer thoughtfully handcrafted products made with natural, whole ingredients and pure essential oils. I still work there every day — blending, creating, and helping customers find simple, effective ways to care for themselves and the people they love. Whether you're just beginning or looking to deepen your practice, this course is designed to meet you where you are. My goal is to help you feel confident working with essential oils safely and effectively, while also encouraging creativity and self-trust in your blending process.
