Meet the Instructor
Hi, I'm Jessie, and I'm so happy you're here. If you had told me years ago that I would one day be teaching clinical aromatherapy to healthcare professionals, I probably wouldn't have believed you. My career began in behavioral health and human services, where I spent years working alongside individuals and families during some of life's most challenging moments. Those experiences taught me that compassionate care is often found in the smallest gestures. Sometimes it isn't about having all the answers. It's about helping someone feel seen, heard, respected, and comforted. That philosophy is what led me to aromatherapy. As I continued my education and experience in aromatherapy, I quickly realized there was a need for something different. There are plenty of resources that teach which essential oil is commonly associated with a particular symptom. Far fewer teach healthcare professionals how to thoughtfully evaluate whether aromatherapy is appropriate in the first place. This course is not about memorizing essential oils or following recipes. It is about learning to think like a clinician. Throughout this program, we'll explore how to assess patients, evaluate current evidence, practice safely within your professional role, and integrate aromatherapy into comfort focused care with confidence and compassion.
